I am a photographer and visual researcher based in Tehran, Iran. My practice focuses on photography, media, gender, and visual culture, with an interest in how images shape and reflect social life. I hold an MA in Art Research from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran. My academic and photographic work explores representation, gender, and the relationship between images and society. Alongside my academic research, I develop long-term documentary photography projects that examine everyday life, public space, and social change through sustained observation. My MA research resulted in a published article on the representation of women in Iran–Iraq War photography, examining questions of discipline, agency, and Islamic visual culture.
